Your score indicates that you are experiencing mild anxiety. Nothing to worry about – seriously! Mild anxiety means that you may be feeling anxious about a number of things. Take a look back at the post and review the two parts about anxiety – motivation and decision making. Which of these two is contributing to your worry? Are you tending to be more motivated by avoiding stuff or moving “away from” situations, events or problems or are you having more difficulty making decisions? Or are you doing a little of both?
One of the best ways to reduce your anxiety is by paying very close attention to these two areas for a few weeks. Be consciously aware of how you make decisions and ask yourself, “Am I avoiding this decision?” and/or “Am I procrastinating this decision by doing other things?” and/or “Am I second guessing my decision?” Just by bringing awareness to your thoughts and strategies, you can start reducing your anxiety level. Also make sure you have goals and things you are looking forward to achieving clearly defined. By reviewing these each day and having an intent to make some progress towards achieving them, you’ll reduce the feeling of anxiety even more!
