Why learn NLP?
Neuro Linguistic Programming teaches you the life skills that no one taught you growing up. With NLP you develop an ease with emotional control, an in-depth insight to how you think, behave and the tools to change what isn’t working.
“I believe if you’re at a point that you have some setbacks holding you from achievement of your full potential, NLP is great. AND NLP is great for folks who are doing well and want to go further and better. It applies to so many aspects of life that I believe it is a comprehensive program with many transferable learnings.” Anu, NLP Master Practitioner & NLP Coach, Mother of Two
“I would strongly recommend this NLP Practitioner Certification course to others because it is for me a way of living. The right way of living. We can build a better version of ourselves, overcoming all the limitations, improve the quality of our life.” Shanthi, Psychologist
People take NLP Certification for many reasons. Some take NLP to improve their communication. Some take it to improve at work or their financial situation. Others want to focus on a particular relationship. Some are just after better understanding and some want to bring out the best in themselves and others. And some people love to learn about the dynamics of human behavior and are curious to discover more. NLP has all of this!
What is NLP anyway?
NLP or Neuro Linguistic Programming is best understood by dissecting its confusing name:
Neuro– referring to the brain and the nervous system. In NLP, a lot of the processes that you learn are based on the natural functioning of the brain, how it connects, how it uses plasticity, and how it interacts with the whole body.
Linguistic– meaning language both verbal and non verbal. The way we say things, what we say and what our physiology is all play a role in the way we communicate with ourselves and others. NLP helps a lot of relationship issues with its language techniques.
Programming– the way we have created habits, ways of thinking, of doing and of believing. Our programming has been influenced by our parents, the media, our culture, other significant members of our family as well as friends. Sometimes, a slight change in the strategy we are programmed to use in one area of our life can cause ripple effects over all of the areas of our life. NLP has the tools to start these ripples, rippling!
Taken together, NLP is about the programs that run our brain & nervous system, how these programs affect our communication, and the interconnection between all of them. For me, I describe NLP as the purposeful use of your mind’s power!
Science Digest reported that NLP “could be the most important synthesis of knowledge about human communication to emerge since the explosion of humanistic psychology… It may be the ultimate behavioral engineering tool.”
With NLP you can understand how you have been “programmed” and how to change programs that aren’t working for you or that hold you back. You can also identify the programs that work for you and map them across to other areas of your life. NLP is all about creating successful outcomes for you and for others by knowing more about these programs; how to change them, add more, and erase some. You become your own hacker in a very good way.
What else is NLP?
NLP is known worldwide as a toolbox of techniques that will get you to where you need to go.
“The techniques taught in the course, if applied, would bring about a positive change in terms of thinking, the way we speak, among others. A person can use it for his/her own good and put to professional use.” John, Solicitor
“I enjoyed many parts of this course; mainly the self-discovery parts.” Quirine, HR Executive
“Everything worked for me. I liked, in fact I loved every element of this course.” Shanthi, Psychologist
“I came with a blank mind, got to know starting from the ABC of NLP. I see “NLP” in my everyday life. Everyone must be a part of NLP for an easy, happy, healthy life.” Yuki, Sales Assistant
“The insights & techniques are hugely beneficial to the way I think, choose, act – all of which would in my mind be useful to others.” Martin, VP Human Resource

How is this training different?
All in the Mind is the only training company in Asia to provide the full 18-day certification (the original length of NLP Certification and a NLP Certification accepted worldwide) for both the NLP Practitioner & Master Practitioner & Coaching Certification Courses. I’m able to do this by splitting the full NLP Practitioner, Master Practitioner and Coaching Certification into 8 weeks covered over 4 months. Plus I’ve added 4 additional days of training – 40 days in total!
You will see how to use NLP, you will hear about case studies and personal examples and most importantly, you will experience each tool yourself. This is the greatest benefit of a long course – integration of the skills into your own life in the way you need it. Some programs only demonstrate the skill or have you watch a video. For me, it isn’t in your muscle until you do it! Imagine going to a gym and hiring a personal trainer for just 8 days. Do you think you would get the same results that you would if you hired her for 8 weeks? The same common sense applies here. And it’s not only common sense – it’s Neuroscience. Check out this interesting article about Neuroscience & learning! Integration of new concepts takes time and practice. The more days you practice the more you will embody the skills. NLP needs time for mind transformations to occur!
And the other reason why I choose to provide this full 8 week program is because of the huge sense of overwhelm I experienced when I took a short course. There was so much information in such a little time, I felt my brain would explode! And when you’re stressed, you learn less. In fact, stress shuts down your ability to learn at all. I don’t want you to have the same negative experience.
“I enjoyed the length of time of this course. For me 7-8 days is too rushed.” Niki, Reiki Master Teacher, NLP Master Practitioner & NLP Coach
“It requires time to understand the concept and bring it into practical application.” Viji, MBA, HR Consultant, NLP Master Practitioner & NLP Coach
“I enjoyed the fact that after every key lesson, we got to practice and experience it on ourselves and our classmates. The material can be given (on a shorter course) but to explain and practice each model so thoroughly and with in-depth knowledge as we did is only possible in 18 day coursework.” Anu, NLP Master Practitioner & NLP Coach, Mother of Two
“I would strongly recommend the 18-day course. It is always useful to learn more about ourselves and others.” John, Solicitor
“7-8 days are not at all enough. We need to have enough practice and Lindley designed it in a perfect way.” Shanthi, Psychologist
“I doubt if we could have firm knowledge of each module (in a shorter course).” Yuki, Sales Assistant
“I could have easily spent more than 18 days on all aspects of the course. 7-8 days would either be rushed or a lot of content would not make it into the course which could be a real shame.” Martin, VP Human Resource
What is this training like?
My course is a SMALL group class. There is a maximum of 6 people. You become very close to the people in your course so it’s important that people are chosen for the course carefully. We also keep things very private. It’s a small island and we share lots of details about our lives which means we need to trust each other. I meet all of the participants personally to ensure they are the right fit for the dynamic of this group. We need to like you as much as you like us.
I also choose to have a neutral emphasis during my NLP Certification programs. Instead of focusing on the therapeutic applications of NLP or the business skills or the wealth creation strategies or the coaching techniques, I choose to focus on what applications are best for the students in that particular group. So if you are a Chiropractor wanting to use NLP to help heal your patients, then what you’re going to hear from me are examples of how you can use each NLP skill for that purpose. If you’re a mother wanting to use NLP to influence your teenagers, then this is what you will get out of your experience in my certification course. If you’re an entrepreneur wanting to start a coaching business, then this is what you’re going to learn about. My course is YOU-focused.

All training days run from 09:30 – 17:30 each day. We have one morning break, lunch and one afternoon break to keep your focus at it’s best.
In our training you have the weekends off! Why? For two very important reasons.
- In NLP, we always check for ecology. Ecology means we understand that there are other people in your life besides you. It means that when you have a goal, even if that goal is self-development, it needs to fit into your life or the goal won’t ever be achieved. For this reason, I want you to have the weekends to spend with friends and family.
- Your brain needs a break. We sleep at night to give our brains a chance to sort and store the lessons and events of the day. Your weekend off will give you more time to process and store the learnings from the course.
We also break our training into 4 months, each comprising of 2 weeks of training. The reason I choose to do this is so you can go back to your “real life” and practice the skills you have learned so far. You then have the opportunity to come back to the group in each section and share your experiences, ask specific questions and cement your knowledge even further! In short courses, you don’t get this opportunity.
**You will need to attend all of the days to receive certification (or arrange with me for make-up days – extra days may be chargeable).

FAQs
Is this certification ICF accredited? Absolutely not! There are two major reasons for this. First is that this training is about the clients you will ultimately work with. Those may be family members, friends, colleagues, staff, or your own coaching clients. You need to have all the skills that enable you to help these people. ICF gives you basic skills. This NLP course gives you in-depth skills. Second, ICF is a business. It makes money from membership in it’s business. There are many companies that provide ICF certified training but not ours. If all you are worried about is your certificate and not your skills, PLEASE do not attend my course. Here’s a little more information if you’re interested…
Is this certification Internationally Recognised? YES! A 36-day course is the most comprehensive in the world. Your certification will be not only accepted, it will be honoured.
What if I just want to take the NLP Practitioner Certification Course and not attend the Master Practitioner & Coaching Certification? Good question! I only have 10 spaces available so places will go to those interested in becoming a coach first. My course is very in depth so the people who are serious about learning are those who are interested in all 3 certifications. If there are open seats available in April, I will contact those who are interested in just the NLP Practitioner Certification so please make sure you fill in the form above and let me know your interest.
What happens if I cannot attend all of the days of the 8 week course? Not a problem. All the content will be available online for you to review so you’ll just need to review the content of the times you’ve missed and make arrangements to do the exercises. Let’s discuss which days you have a conflict with and work out what’s the best way for you to make-up the exercises for those days.
What if I cannot take off work for this many days? What about our NLP Practitioner Course for Professionals? Individually tailored for you during the time you have available.
